What I'm Doing Now
Exercise
-
In 2025 I had a goal of swimming 5,200 laps in a 25yd pool. This is about 74 miles which is approximately
the distance from my house to Beaver Creek. I finished the goal! I did it by swimming about 3x/week and
doing 40-50 laps each time. That was perfect and gave me some vacation and sick time grace.
-
In 2026, my goal is to do 15,000 pushups. I'm ramping up my daily goal and as of April I'm at 35 pushups
per day and have done 2,175 pushups this year. I'm on track.

Here is the sheet
I'm using to track so far. I may create a cool visual for this too but haven't come up with the idea yet.
Coding
-
I'm using Codex to build an iOS game. It is similar to Water Sort and Magic Sort games. So far i have built
the engine and UI and have about 25 levels and some additional fun features. My wife likes this type of game
so I'm building it for her, and am really enjoying learning how iOS games work.
Project Management Work
- My team recently finished building the Customer and Admin applications and systems for Portal Thermaculture, a wellness club specializing
in contrast therapy - ie cold plunges and saunas. This is now serving thousands of customers in multiple locations and expanding.
Music
- I recently bought a Fender American Vintage II 1951 Telecaster in Butterscotch Blonde and am really enjoying playing it!
I've been playing a 1991 Paul Reed Smith CE22 since I was 16. It has been an amazing guitar, and still is. I've played more than
500 shows with it and traveled all over the country. It hardly ever goes out of tune and has been a workhorse. I love it but i wanted
to expand into the tele sound, which is basically the opposite side of the spectrum from the P90s in the PRS. I'm loving the tele, it
sounds, plays, and looks amazing. The twang!
- Regular jam sessions, maybe 2x/month.
-
Taking some great online guitar courses by
workingclassguitar.com. I'm especially loving learning the blues. Also doing some TrueFire
courses.
- Going to see as many concerts as I can. Looking forward to Muse at Fiddler's in August!
